Quality Foundation Repair currently making great strides in our effort in becoming an Austin Green Business Leader!
Our progress in becoming a Gold Member of ABGL includes the following:
The creation and implementation of an Environmental Purchasing Policy. This means QFR will always purchase environmentally responsible supplies whenever possible. The only exceptions are when a Eco-Friendly product is not available, is of poor quality or is marginally overpriced.
The creation and implementation of a Water Responsibly Policy. This focus is based upon the City of Austin’s 3C water challenge, which help us reach a goal of using 10% less water each year that we are in the program. We are also taking efforts to reduce our bottled water usage. We have posted signage in our main office promoting conservation efforts for all to utilize as a learning tool.
Additionally, QFR is now tracking our carbon footprint and energy usage. Tracking resource usage will ultimately reflect the current energy upgrades that we are now putting in place for the ABGL transformation.
